I am a proud member of the IceWorks Skating Club. It's a really great club. Everyone is friendly
and very supportive of each other. We have 207 club members. IceWorks is a United
States Figure Skating Club. When I go to USFS competitions I represent IceWorks. IceWorks provides
many benefits that other clubs don't, such as stipends for all levels and a club locker room. We host the Halloween
Classic (the 2nd largest adult competition in the world), the Dance Classic (one of the biggest Pro-Am dance competitions),
a basic skills challenge and beginning next year will be running the Liberty Summer Competition. This
is the third club I have belonged to, and it's the by far the best one. If you're looking for a club to join, I suggest
IceWorks!!!
My Skating Rink
My home club rink of course is at IceWorks. I train there full time Monday through Friday.
IceWorks is a wonderful rink. It has four sheets of ice, 2 resturants, a figure skating proshop, a doctor and it even
has an embroidery shop. I have met a lot of really nice people from across the country and around the world at IceWorks.
We work very hard at IceWorks, but we also have a lot of fun and the rink is full of laughter. If you are a really competitive
skater, (especially on the east coast) chances are you have been to IceWorks. If not, I just might see you there soon.
